
Joe Molinaro is a ceramic artist, educator, and writer who currently serves as Professor Emeritus at Eastern Kentucky University, where he taught from 1989 to 2016 following an eight-year tenure at Broward Community College. With a career deeply rooted in research, Molinaro has spent over 26 years documenting ceramic traditions in the Amazon region of Ecuador alongside colleagues Richard Burkett and Nan Coffin, building upon his earlier extensive studies in Mexico and the Caribbean. Now based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, he maintains an active studio practice while contributing regularly to international ceramic publications.
